Introducing the Good Design Award Focus Issue Project
JSSD/Japanese Society for the Science of Design held an autumn conference in November.
AT this conference, Promotional Design Study Group participated in the organized session, Here, we introduced the research that the "Design Promotion Policy Archive" has been promoting, and invited Mr. Atsushi Akimoto of Japan Institute of Design Promotion to report on the Good Design Award / Focus Issue Project.
The Focus Issue Project was started in 2015 by Kazumasa Nagai, who was the chair of the judging committee at the time. And this Project will discover today's design issues by the judges from the Good Design Award winning designs.
This project plays a role in sharing design today with many designers and companies, but at the same time, it is possible to understand the diversity of Japanese design.
